MISSION
Many industrial sites are eager to implement new maintenance task such as Condition-Based or Predictive Maintenance (CBM or PdM) to reduce costs and prevent failures.
To enable this, Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) technique is necessary, which is to collect sensor signals from the equipment and apply various methods including AI to perform fault diagnosis and failure prediction.

Furthermore, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis is needed in a bigger picture to determine which maintenance task and associated techniques are good for total lifecycle cost. It could be the sensor based real-time prediction for CBM or PdM but also the interval estimate for periodic inspections.

The PHM Service (PHMS) is established to meet these needs, and offers following services:

There are two ways to establish PHM system: internal development or outsourcing.
Whichever they are, developers often face challenges due to the lack of technique or experience. PHMS helps overcoming this by providing specific solutions and supporting to make them their own capability.

Recently, government and industry are interested in ensuring safety and reliability over equipment lifecycle. While the PHM is one way to go, design for reliability over lifecycle is also important in a bigger picture. PHMS meets these demands by developing PHM technique or reliability procedure and RCM strategy.
