Estimating SOC/SOH for battery of hybrid engine in UAM

• Batteries for electric aircraft require much higher reliability in SOC (State of Charge) and SOH (State of Health) estimation than those on the ground.

• A practical procedure is developed for hybrid UAM batteries, using ESC-based equivalent circuit model along with FPIM and DEKF technique to accurately predict SOC and SOH.
