Failure prediction of motor in satellites

• As the failure of reaction wheel motors are critical to satellite operation, its RUL prediction is important while it is in operation.

• A model based method is developed, using the accelerated-life tests performed on ground for 3 years, in which the health is estimated using the extended Kalman filter by the motor signals.
