Crack inspection of turbine blades is important to prevent entire system loss but requires high cost and time. Therefore, optimal inspection interval is necessary in terms of cost and safety.
Bayesian approach is applied to this purpose, which exploits analytic prediction as prior and field inspection data as the likelihood to determine the lower confidence bound of B1 life.
